July news and schedule estimates

Summer is a busy time of the year, so here are some news in short:

  • Finalized:
    • New web site design
    • Internal Communication Guidelines
    • IT plan for the efficient resource usage in 2008
  • Successfully assigned two developers to a customer for the long-term support of xLim2 implementation
  • Schedule for the available R&D resources has been settled down for the August-October period.

Some changes are on the way

Primary business model for the Landor Systems has been revolving around projects and sub-projects being handled completely to our R&D teams.

We plan to add another model that allows for efficient assignment of 1-2 developers to the customer. This will bring us more diverse experience in specific industry fields and will allow to leverage existing R&D resource pool more efficiently.

However, this model implies different communication and management models and imposes some additional requirements on Landor Systems.

So some changes for Landor Systems are on the way. August 2008 is their delivery milestone.
